Everyone wants to feel aligned, abundant, and free — but here’s the truth: you can’t fully step into your power while ignoring the parts of yourself you’ve buried. That’s where shadow work comes in.
Shadow work is the practice of exploring the hidden, repressed, or denied parts of yourself — the emotions, beliefs, and stories that live beneath the surface of your awareness. It’s not about fixing what’s wrong; it’s about reclaiming what’s been lost.
When you face the parts of you that you’ve tucked away — consciously or subconsciously — you stop living in reaction and start living with intention. You stop repeating old loops. You begin to stand in your authentic alignment.
The idea of the shadow comes from psychologist Carl Jung, who described it as the unconscious part of the psyche — the pieces of ourselves we disown or repress because they feel unacceptable, unsafe, or “too much.”
Your shadow might include anger you were punished for, emotions you were told to suppress, or the wild, creative spark you dimmed to fit in. These pieces don’t disappear when you bury them — they slip beneath the surface, shaping your choices and reactions from the shadows.
But here’s the truth: your shadow isn’t the enemy. It’s the key to your freedom.
Some shadows form in childhood, shaped by family dynamics, cultural conditioning, and early survival patterns. You learned who you had to be — and who you couldn’t be — to stay safe and loved.
Others develop later in life, through heartbreak, rejection, burnout, or failure. Maybe you learned to stay small to keep the peace. Maybe you silenced your truth to belong. Maybe you buried your ambition because someone told you it made them uncomfortable.
Every time we hide a part of ourselves, we create a shadow.
Ignoring your shadow doesn’t make it disappear — it just runs the show from behind the curtain. That’s why you keep finding yourself in the same patterns: relationships that replay old wounds, self-sabotage that strikes when things start to flow, or the emptiness that lingers no matter how much “work” you do.
Shadow work brings those patterns into the light. It’s where you stop abandoning yourself, reclaim the energy you’ve been leaking into the past, and align with your real frequency — not the one shaped by fear or survival.
This is the bridge between awareness and transformation. Between knowing your patterns and actually shifting them.
Shadow work requires honesty. Start small and start where you are.
• Notice your triggers. The moments that make you react are your shadow asking to be seen.
• Observe your loops. Pay attention to the themes that repeat in your life — they’re clues.
• Journal it out. Write what you’re afraid to say out loud. Be curious, not cruel.
• Ground often. Shadow work can feel intense — use grounding techniques (like deep breathing or meditation) to keep your body safe.
And if you’re ready to go deeper, you don’t have to do it alone.
On October 30, during the height of Scorpio Season, Chris Corsini is guiding a live Shadow Work Workshop — Clearing Limits Live Event
This 75-minute experience will take you into your subconscious to meet the parts you’ve hidden — not with shame or fear, but with compassion and power. Through guided practice, Chris will help you understand how your shadow patterns formed, how to safely face them, and how to realign your energy so you can live and lead authentically.
Because you can’t attract what’s meant for you while you’re still hiding from yourself.
The shadow isn’t your downfall — it’s your portal to abundance, truth, and freedom

Shadow work is messy. It’s uncomfortable. It asks you to stop pretending everything’s fine. But it’s also the most honest and liberating work you’ll ever do.
When you illuminate your shadow, you don’t just heal your past — you reclaim your future. You stop performing, and you start radiating authenticity. You align with your highest frequency — the one that calls in real love, real opportunities, and real peace.
